Rodeo Pics

We went to the rodeo grounds one morning last week just to check out the animals and let Wyatt play at the petting zoo =)

The Mr. snapped a few pictures of me and Wyatt when we first went into the petting zoo. I really wish I would have grabbed the camera from him though, because once Wyatt got warmed up he was on the run! It was actually a really large petting zoo with animals everywhere! He was running around flailing his arms, pulling tails, and touching anything he could get his hands on, lol... it was adorable. He loved it. ..

Family Visit Part 3

Thursday we spent the day at the San Antonio Zoo! We planned our days according to the weather forecast and Thursday was be-u-tiful!

Lunch (this picture cracks me up.. looks like my Dad is really showing off that piece of pineapple, Tyler's mouth is stuffed with food, Chandler has his famous picture face on, which kind of looks like Wyatt's too! lol)

 After lunch we went to the "Tot Spot" Everything was big and low for the little ones.. it was too sweet.

 Funny story.. the sun was really bright, so I took the picture and then I said "ok." Chandler said, "You already took it? I was waiting for you to tell me when so I could look up real quick." haha There were other people waiting to take pictures here so I said, "Oh well" (that's why he is looking at the ground) He keeps us  laughing if you can't tell =) Another great day! The last post will be our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day pics!

Family Visit Part 2

Continuing from my last post.... Wednesday we went downtown to the Rivercenter Mall, Riverwalk, and The Alamo. It was pretty chilly but we just bundled up!

I love these pictures in front of the Alamo. When we first walked up to it we were all reading that plaque and Chandler says, "Original grass!" hahahaha That grass does look a little out of place =)

There are no pictures allowed inside the Alamo so that's about all we were able to take.
And a video of Wyatt on the merry go round thing... watching it back we thought it kind of looks like he was dizzy at the end because he wasn't moving, lol.

Family Visit

I'm going to post about my family's visit over the next few posts... I have way to many pictures for just one post! I love blogging about stuff like this because it makes me feel like I'm actually doing something with all the pictures I take. I'm sure you all know by now that I'm a little obsessed with pictures =) Unfortunately, printing all my favorites would cost to much money and storing them in albums takes up too much space in the house..so I blog. Plus, I love to reminisce.. whether it was last week or last year. And I love going back and reading old posts.
So anyways, my parents and little brother flew out to stay with us for 9 days over Christmas. It sounds like a long time, but it flew by way to fast. I am glad they stayed as long as they did! We had such an awesome time. They got here Saturday afternoon. That night after dinner we went to our church's live drive-thru christmas nativity. I didn't take any pictures but we really enjoyed it.

Sunday was, of course, Wyatt's birthday party.
Monday was spent "out on the town"... my mom needed to do some Christmas shopping so we all went out to Target, Toys R Us, ect. We ate lunch at Panera Bread, it was SO good.. we hadn't eaten there since we moved here so it had been much to long =)

 Mom couldn't believe Wyatt can stack blocks all by himself, haha

Tuesday morning we went out to a trail that we really like...

That afternoon was Wyatt's 1 year Dr. appointment. It's a pretty good drive away so we all went to the appt. and after that we went to Garden Ridge (one of our all-time favorite stores thanks to the Mr.'s mom!). Here's Wyatt testing out some furniture ;)

For dinner we went out to eat Mexican at Chuy's. yummmm. Wyatt ate ice cream for the first time, it came with his kid's meal. Can you imagine, ice cream for the first time?! He loved it =)

So the first few days were a little bit of everything.
